We’ve reserved a room block at the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, conveniently located between our ceremony and reception venues and one of the closest hotels to The River Café. The room block is available for stays from December 10–13 and includes: • King Rooms at $369/night (5 room remaining) • Double Bed Rooms at $384/night (5 rooms remaining) • Suites at $594/night (2 rooms remaining) To reserve a room at the discounted group rate, please call the hotel directly and mention the Climie/Smith Room Block, or use the booking link below. If calling, please be sure that your reservation is made under the Climie/Smith Room Block and not the Smith/Bowie Room Block.

We recommend flying into JFK or LaGuardia (LGA), as both offer convenient access to Brooklyn. If possible, we'd suggest avoiding Newark (EWR), as it is located in New Jersey and typically requires a longer and more expensive trip into the city. Pro Tip: If you're flying into JFK or LaGuardia, check out Uber Shuttle, which can be significantly less expensive than a traditional Uber ride. Shuttle fares are often around $20–$25 per person, compared to much higher rideshare prices during busy travel times.

Both our ceremony and reception will be indoors, so there's no need to plan your attire around the weather. December in New York can be chilly, however, so we recommend bringing a coat for getting to and from the venues.

Due to our desire to keep our wedding intimate, we are only able to accommodate the guests addressed on your invitation. We can’t wait to celebrate with our favorite people!

We will have a fully open bar during cocktail hour (3–4 PM), featuring top-shelf spirits and any cocktail you’d like. After cocktail hour, wine and beer will be available complimentary throughout the evening. If you’d prefer a cocktail during dinner, we kindly ask that you cover it.

We kindly ask that guests arrange their own transportation to the church, as accommodations will vary. The church was thoughtfully chosen for its close proximity to the River Café, making for a seamless transition to the reception.

Our dress code is Black Tie Optional. For women, we recommend long gowns or formal dresses. For men, a tuxedo or dark suit is appropriate. For visual examples and additional guidance, please visit our Dress Code page.

December in New York can be cold, with temperatures typically ranging from the 30s to 50s. We recommend bringing a warm coat and comfortable walking shoes. As frequent winter visitors, Cade and Reagan are usually comfortable in jeans, a short-sleeve shirt, and a good coat while exploring the city during the day. Temperatures tend to drop after sunset, so be sure to bundle up if you'll be out in the evenings.
